Aam Aadmi Party start ‘Metro Fare Satyagraha’ from Today

In protest against the increased fares of Delhi Metro, Arvind Kejriwal Aam Aadmi Party will launch a ‘movement of Metro fare Satyagraha’. Under this, plans to be performed at all Metro stations at 4 pm today.

It is notable that Delhi’s Aam Aadmi Party government is opposing the increase of metro rail fares from the start. There was a fierce rumor in the Delhi assembly for the Metro fares. After this, the Delhi government extended the special session of the assembly one day more. Under this movement, Protest will be performed at all the metro stations at 4 pm today.

Meanwhile, the Delhi Women’s Commission survey revealed that the increase in Metro fares has also threatened the security of women. In the survey, 68.23 percent of women have said that other resources will be utilized, which will increase the risk of their safety.

Explain that this has increased by an average ten rupees. At the same time, Metro has given 20% discount to tenants in addition to 10% discount to Smartcard holders, instead of 10% in passenger non-peak hours.
