Benling India Energy and Technology Private Limited has launched its new electric scooter Aura (Aura) in India. With this launch, the company has entered the high-speed segment of the Indian EV market. Earlier, the company has launched three low speed models. The company said that this scooter will be available for sale from the first quarter of next year. This scooter was launched at the ongoing EV Expo in Delhi. The company said that this scooter is made keeping in mind the needs of the Indian consumer.
This scooter has a breakdown smart assist system. Through this feature, the scooter restarts and runs in the event of a breakdown. The Benling Aura has 2500 BLDC electric motors and 72V / 40Ah detachable lithium-ion batteries. Once charged, this scooter can cover a distance of 120KM. The detachable battery takes 4 hours to charge. The scooter has a maximum speed of 60 km per hour.
This scooter comes with a remote keyless system. Apart from this, USB charging system is also provided in it. This Benling scooter comes with anti theft alarm and additional rear wheel integrated locking system. The Aura is the company’s first high-speed scooter. Before this, Benling has launched three low speed models Kriti, Icon and Falcon in India. The company started its operations in India this year.
