After launching in the international market a month ago, the BlackBerry KEY2 smartphone has been introduced in India. This handset series comes with 7 aluminum frames, diamond grip back panel and two-day battery life claim. This is the first smartphone of the BlackBerry brand that comes with Dual Camera setup. It has features such as portrait mode and optical zoom. Apart from this, the physical QWERTY keyboard comes with many work shortcuts, allowing users to launch an app just by pressing a button.

Dual SIM BlackBerry KEY2 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. There is a 4.5-inch full-HD (1080×1620 pixels) display with 3: 2 aspect ratios. Its pixel density is 433 pixels per inch. The handset has 64 GB of Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor with 6 GB RAM.
Now talk camera setup. Two rear cameras are provided in BlackBerry KEY2. Both sensors are of 12 megapixels, which are equipped with dual-tone LED flash, HDR, 4K video recording and dual PDAF. Field of view of the primary sensor is 79.3 degree and aperture is F / 1.8. Secondary sensor is a 50-degree field of view and its aperture is F / 2.6. The front panel has a fixed focus sensor of 8 megapixels that comes with the screen flash. It comes with full-HD video recording capability.
There are two variants based on inbuilt storage – 64 GB and 128 GB. Both variants support MicroSD card up to 256 GB. BlackBerry KEY2’s connectivity features include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, 3.5 headphone jacks, and USB Type C. The battery is 3500 mAh. Accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, hall effect sensor, fingerprint sensor, magnetometer and proximity sensor are part of this phone. The dimension of BlackBerry KEY2 is 151.4×71.8×8.5 millimeters and weighs 168 grams.
Price and Availability of BlackBerry KEY2 in India
BlackBerry 2 will be sold in India for Rs 42,990. This will be available exclusively on Amazon India website from July 31. It will come with Reliance Jio cashback offer. Apart from this, cashback will be available on ICICI Bank’s card usage.
