There is good news for BSNL’s landline user. Recently, the government telecom company, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, had decided to discontinue the ‘free calling service’ to the landline user, which has now been extended for 3 months. That is, landline users will be able to continue enjoying free calling on Sunday for the next three months.
This step of the company can be helpful in connecting users to landline service as much as possible. Explain that the company has been offering ‘Free calling service’ on Sunday for its landline, combo and FTTH Broadband user from the year 2016.
In the middle of January this year, some improvements were made within this plan. In this service, the user was given the option of free calling from 10.30 am to 6:30 am. With the change in mid-January, the deadline was changed from 9 a.m. to 7 a.m.
In the statement given to the news agency, General Manager of BSNL Calcutta Unit (CalTel) SP Tripathi had said in the recent statement that the company has stopped ‘free calling for the Sunday’ and has been preparing to bring some new plans. Talking about ‘Calcutta Telephones’, it has approximately 6 million fixed connections. Government telecom company BSNL has more than 1.25 million connections across the country.
However, BSNL has not officially said anything about the change in the ‘Free calling plan’ on Sunday, but it is certain that the government telecom company is getting tough competition from private companies like Reliance Jio and Airtel.
Last month BSNL increased the validity of unlimited calls and had already increased 50 percent more data in the data pack. Experts believe that the state-run telecom company is getting a tough competition from Reliance Jio, which is bringing in an affordable data and call plan after one. Explain that BSNL has also started its high-speed 4G service from Kerala Circle.
