Honda Cars India has officially confirmed that the company is going to bring its much-awaited Civic car into a new style in 2019. After this study from Japan’s automaker, it has come to the conclusion that even though the demand for SUV cars in the market has increased, customers are still eager for sedan cars.
Through the new Civic car, the company will try to entice customers who are running the current Honda City car. The last variant of Honda City was launched in 2014.
The length and height of the new car can be changed, although its wheelbase will be old. 1.8-liter petrol and 1.6-liter diesel engine can be given in the car. The company launched the eighth generation of Honda Civic in 2006. After getting a good response, in the beginning, its sales had deteriorated.
The reason behind this was not due to the diesel engine option. So in 2013, the carmaker had closed this model and did not bring a new model. One reason was that the 9th Generation Civic car did not get any special response in the global market. The model that will be launched in India now is the 10th generation of Honda Civic.
