South Korean smartphone maker Samsung has built a battery that will charge your smartphone in just 12 minutes. This battery will last for a long time after charging. The special thing is that this battery will be used in electric vehicles.
Samsung has reported that its Researchers of the Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology (SAIT) have developed a new battery material ‘Graphene Ball’. The company claims that this battery made of graphene ball technology is charged five times faster than an ordinary lithium battery. Not only this, this material can increase battery capacity up to 45 percent.
Samsung said that the battery made on the graphene ball is fully charged in just 12 minutes. With this, the battery can also work at temperatures of up to 60 degrees Celsius, which also makes it suitable for electric vehicles.
The company says that graphene is better than 100% of copper conduction, as well as it has ideological material for fast charging. Although Samsung has not yet told how long this battery will be available in the market, it is expected that Samsung’s next smartphone can have a fast-charging battery.
