Ford India Recalls 5397 Units Of EcoSport, Here is the Reason

Ford India said that they recalling 5,397 units of its popular sports utility vehicle (SUV) Ecosport. The company says that there is some Problem in Ford Front Control Arm and driver and front passenger seat fixer lock, which will be corrected.

The company said in the statement that these vehicles were produced in the company’s Chennai based plant between May 2017 and June 2017 and between November 2017 and December 2017. For this, the company has written a letter to the owners of 1,018 EcoSport, asking them to return the car.

The company said that in some parts of these cars, the work has not been done according to fixed criteria and a decision has been taken to bring the cars back to overcome these shortcomings. The company further said that they are committed to providing world-class quality vehicles to its customers.

Let us say that Ford India had introduced EcoSport to the market in November last year. The car has 1.0 EcoBoost engine and it is the best-selling third SUV in India. In May this year, it had 5,003 units sold.
