Google, the California based search engine giant started manufacturing smartphones over the last few years. Smartphones from Google were a huge success as it was welcomed by users across the world. Google usually names the phone as Pixel and Pixel XL. High-quality specs at moderate prices from pixel has attracted the smartphone world. Every year they would launch a new phone to compete with other smartphone manufacturers like Apple, Samsung, Nokia, etc.
This year is no different as they planned to launch a new phone in October. Many believed that the launch event would happen on October 5. But to everyone surprise, Google displayed a billboard at Boston which reads “Ask more of your phone,” followed by the “G” logo from Google and an “Oct. 4” date. At the same time, they have also displayed similar kind of message in the Google Search Engine home page.
Eventually, all these teasers lead to the Pixel phone announcement. Google might launch two phones this year. Which would be Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. On the other hand, HTC has collaborated with Google for the manufacturing of pixel phones. It is likely to come with Snapdragon 836 or 835 processor, 6-inch AMOLED display, 1440P screen, 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The expectations from Google has become very high since the launch of iPhone X and Galaxy Note 8.
