Renault Will Show Kwid-Based Compact SUV At 2018 Auto Expo

France’s automaker Renault will be offering the Kwid-based Compact SUV in 2018 to the auto expo going to be in February. Like the new SUV of Renault, it will be prepared on Common Platform A (CMF-A). Directly from the SUV, the market’s number one Maruti and number two company will be from Hyundai’s upcoming Micro SUV.

Gerard Deturbet, who created this platform, said that the CMF-A platform will also be used to build a car like compact SUV, a premium hatchback, compact sedan and station wagon. All these cars will be longer than the Kwid but will be less than 4 meters.

Kwid-Based Compact SUV

In all these vehicles, the Kwid 1 liter petrol engine will be installed. It can not be said now whether this platform is also effective for the diesel engine. According to online media reports, like these, these cars are being developed in the Chennai-based plant as well.
