Self-charged Toyota Vellfire launched in India, Price Rs. 79.5 lakh

Toyota Kirloskar Motor introduced its hybrid electric vehicle ‘Toyota Vellfire’ in the Indian market on Wednesday. This luxury car of the company charges itself. Toyota said in a release that the new Toyota Vellfire fuel gives customers a good experience in low consumption. Also reduces carbon emissions. According to the company’s senior vice president Naveen Soni, the new Toyota Vellfire is priced at Rs 79.5 lakh in showrooms across the country. So far 180 units have been booked.

Toyota said that it has a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline hybrid engine that offers a capacity of 115 bhp. The company said that the Vellfire engine also has two electric motors and a hybrid battery which reduces emissions. This car charges itself while driving.

Toyota Vellfire is Toyota’s flagship MPV. It is already sold in the international market. Inside it, three line seats have been given, of which the maximum focus is on the second line seats. The second line has two captain seats with reclining function and electronic footrest. It has a roof mounted 13-inch rear entertainment screen for passengers. Apart from this, there are features like 17-speaker JBL sound system, dual sunroof, 16 color options for roof lighting and 3-zone auto climate control. The folding table and cupholders are also provided inside the Vellfire.

Booking of the Toyota Vellfire has started and it will compete with the Mercedes-Benz V-Class in the Indian market.
